2  GEN 1:2  Earth was tohu v'bohu ·void and chaos·. Darkness was on the surface of the deep and Ruach Elohim ·Spirit of God· was hovering over the surface of the waters.
5  GEN 1:5  God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night”. There was evening and there was morning, the first yom ·period of time, day·.
6  GEN 1:6  God said, “Let there be an expanse in the middle of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.”
7  GEN 1:7  God made the expanse, and divided the waters which were under the expanse from the waters which were above the expanse; and it was so·.
8  GEN 1:8  God called the expanse “shamayim ·sky, heavens·”. There was evening and there was morning, a second yom ·period of time, day·.
9  GEN 1:9  God said, “Let the waters under the sky be gathered together to one place, and let the dry land appear;” and it was so.
13  GEN 1:13  There was evening and there was morning, a third yom ·period of time, day·. (A:2)
14  GEN 1:14  God said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of sky to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs to mark seasons and appointed times, days, and years;
15  GEN 1:15  and let them be for lights in the expanse of sky to give light on the earth;” and it was so.
17  GEN 1:17  God set them in the expanse of sky to give light to the earth,
19  GEN 1:19  There was evening and there was morning, a fourth 'yom ·period of time, day·.
20  GEN 1:20  God said, “Let the waters abound with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth in the open expanse of sky.”
22  GEN 1:22  God blessed them, saying, “Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth.”
23  GEN 1:23  There was evening and there was morning, a fifth 'yom ·period of time, day·. (A:3)
24  GEN 1:24  God said, “Let the earth produce nefesh chai ·soul living· creatures after their kind, livestock, creeping things, and animals of the earth after their kind;” and it was so.
25  GEN 1:25  God made the animals of the earth after their kind, and the livestock after their kind, and everything that creeps on the ground after its kind. God saw that it was good.
26  GEN 1:26  God said, “Let us make a 'adam ·human· in our image, after our likeness: and let them have authority over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the sky, and over the livestock, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”
28  GEN 1:28  God blessed them. God said to them, “Be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth, and bring it into subjection, subdue it. Have authority over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the sky, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
30  GEN 1:30  To every animal of the earth, and to every bird of the sky, and to everything that creeps on the earth, in which there is life, I have given every green herb for food;” and it was so.
31  GEN 1:31  God saw everything that he had made, and, behold, it was m'ohd tov ·exceedingly good·. There was evening and there was morning, a sixth 'yom ·period of time, day·.
33  GEN 2:2  On the seventh 'yom ·period of time, day· God finished his work which he had done; and he shavat ·rested· on the seventh day from all his work which he had done.
34  GEN 2:3  God blessed the seventh day, and made it set apart holy, because he rested in it from all his work of barah' ·creation from nothingness· which he had done. (A:4, S:2)
36  GEN 2:5  no plant of the field was yet in the earth, and no herb of the field had yet sprung up; for Adonai God had not caused it to rain on the earth. There was no human to till the ground,
37  GEN 2:6  but a mist went up from the earth, and watered the whole surface of the ground.
39  GEN 2:8  Adonai God planted a garden eastward, in Eden [Delight], and there he put the man whom he had formed.
40  GEN 2:9  Out of the ground Adonai God made every tree to grow that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food, including the 'etz chai ·tree of life· in the middle of the garden and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
41  GEN 2:10  A river went out of Eden [Delight] to water the garden; and from there it was parted, and became the source of four rivers.
45  GEN 2:14  The name of the third river is Hiddekel. This is the one which flows in front of Assyria [Level plain]. The fourth river is the Euphrates [Fruitful].
46  GEN 2:15  Adonai God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden [Delight] to cultivate and keep it.
49  GEN 2:18  Adonai God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make him a help-mate suitable for him.”
51  GEN 2:20  The man gave names to all livestock, and to the birds of the sky, and to every animal of the field; but for man there was not found a helper suitable for him.
52  GEN 2:21  Adonai God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep. As the man slept, he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place.
55  GEN 2:24  Therefore a husband man will leave his father and his mother, and will dabak ·cling to, worship· with his wife woman, and they will be echad ·one· flesh.
57  GEN 3:1  Now the serpent was more subtle than any animal of the field which Adonai God had made. He said to the woman, “Has God really said, ‘You shall not eat of any tree of the garden?’”
58  GEN 3:2  The woman said to the serpent, “We may eat fruit from the trees of the garden,
60  GEN 3:4  The serpent said to the woman, “You won’t surely die,
61  GEN 3:5  for God knows that in the day you eat it, your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”
63  GEN 3:7  Their eyes were opened, and they both knew that they were naked. They sewed fig leaves together, and made coverings for themselves.
64  GEN 3:8  They sh'ma ·heard obeyed· Adonai God’s voice walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and the man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of Adonai God among the trees of the garden.
69  GEN 3:13  Adonai God said to the woman, “What have you done?” The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.”
70  GEN 3:14  Adonai God said to the serpent, “Because you have done this, you are cursed above all livestock, and above every animal of the field. You shall go on your belly and you shall eat dust all the days of your life.
71  GEN 3:15  I will put hostility between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring. He will bruise your head, and you will bruise his heel.”
72  GEN 3:16  To the woman he said, “I will greatly multiply your pain in childbirth. In pain you will bear children. Your desire will be for your husband, and he will have authority over you.”
75  GEN 3:19  By the sweat of your face will you eat bread until you teshuvah ·complete return· to the ground, for out of it you were taken. For you are dust, and to dust you shall made teshuvah ·complete return·.”
79  GEN 3:23  Therefore Adonai God physically sent him out from the garden of Eden [Delight], to till the ground from which he was taken.
80  GEN 3:24  So he gahrash ·relationally divorced· the man; and he placed cherubim at the east of the garden of Eden, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to guard the way to the tree of life.
81  GEN 4:1  The man knew Eve [Life] his wife. She conceived, and gave birth to Cain [Acquisition], and said, “I have gotten a man with Adonai ’s help.”
82  GEN 4:2  Again she gave birth, to Cain [Acquisition]’s brother Abel [Vanity, Mourning]. Abel [Vanity, Mourning] was a keeper of sheep, but Cain [Acquisition] was a tiller of the ground.
83  GEN 4:3  As time passed, Cain [Acquisition] brought an offering to Adonai from the fruit of the ground.
84  GEN 4:4  Abel [Vanity, Mourning] also brought some of the firstborn of his flock and of its fat. Adonai respected Abel [Vanity, Mourning] and his offering,
85  GEN 4:5  but he didn’t respect Cain [Acquisition] and his offering. Cain [Acquisition] was very angry, and the expression on his face fell.
86  GEN 4:6  Adonai said to Cain [Acquisition], “Why are you angry? Why has the expression of your face fallen?
87  GEN 4:7  If you do well, won’t it be lifted up? If you don’t do well, sin crouches at the door. Its desire is for you, but you are to rule over it.”
88  GEN 4:8  Cain [Acquisition] said to Abel [Vanity, Mourning], his brother, “Let’s go into the field.” While they were in the field, Cain [Acquisition] rose up against Abel [Vanity, Mourning], his brother, and murdered him.
89  GEN 4:9  Adonai said to Cain [Acquisition], “Where is Abel [Vanity, Mourning], your brother?” He said, “I don’t know. Am I my brother’s keeper?”
91  GEN 4:11  Now you are cursed because of the ground, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood from your hand.
93  GEN 4:13  Cain [Acquisition] said to Adonai, “My punishment is greater than I can bear.
95  GEN 4:15  Adonai said to him, “Therefore whoever slays Cain [Acquisition], vengeance will be taken on him sevenfold.” Adonai appointed a sign for Cain [Acquisition], so that anyone finding him would not strike him.
96  GEN 4:16  Cain [Acquisition] left Adonai ’s presence, and lived in the land of Nod, east of Eden [Delight].
101  GEN 4:21  His brother’s name was Jubal, who was the father of all who handle the harp and pipe.
103  GEN 4:23  Lamech said to his wives, “Adah and Zillah, sh'ma ·hear obey· my voice. You wives of Lamech, listen to my speech, for I have slain a man for wounding me, a young man for bruising me.
105  GEN 4:25  Adam [Human, Red earth] knew his wife again. She gave birth to a son, and named him Seth [Appointed], saying, “for God has given me another child instead of Abel [Vanity, Mourning], for Cain [Acquisition] killed him.”
106  GEN 4:26  A son was also born to Seth [Appointed], and he named him Enosh. At that time men began to call on Adonai ’s name.
109  GEN 5:3  Adam [Human, Red earth] lived one hundred thirty years, and became the father of a son in his own likeness, after his image, and named him Seth [Appointed].
110  GEN 5:4  The days of Adam [Human, Red earth] after he became the father of Seth [Appointed] were eight hundred years, and he became the father of other sons and daughters.
112  GEN 5:6  Seth [Appointed] lived one hundred five years, then became the father of Enosh.
113  GEN 5:7  Seth [Appointed] lived after he became the father of Enosh eight hundred seven years, and became the father of other sons and daughters.
114  GEN 5:8  All of the days of Seth [Appointed] were nine hundred twelve years, then he died.
138  GEN 5:32  Noah [Rest] was five hundred years old, then Noah [Rest] became the father of Shem [Name], Ham [Hot, Intensity, Passion], and Japheth [Enlargement, Spreading wide].
139  GEN 6:1  When men began to multiply on the surface of the ground, and daughters were born to them,
141  GEN 6:3  Adonai said, “My Spirit will not strive with man forever, because he also is flesh; so his days will be one hundred twenty years.”
142  GEN 6:4  The Nephilim were in the earth in those days, and also after that, when the Beni-Elohim ·Sons of Elohim God· came in to men’s daughters and had children with them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown. (Maftir ·Conclusion·)
145  GEN 6:7  Adonai said, “I will destroy man whom I have created from the surface of the ground— man, along with animals, creeping things, and birds of the sky— for I am sorry that I have made them.”
147  GEN 6:9  This is the history of the generations of Noah [Rest]: Noah [Rest] was a upright man, blameless among the people of his time. Noah [Rest] walked with God.
148  GEN 6:10  Noah [Rest] became the father of three sons: Shem [Name], Ham [Hot, Intensity, Passion], and Japheth [Enlargement, Spreading wide].
149  GEN 6:11  The earth was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.
