23217	MAT 1:4	Ram fathered Amminadab, Amminadab fathered Nahshon, and Nahshon fathered Salmon.
23219	MAT 1:6	and Jesse fathered David the king. David the king fathered Solomon by her who had been the wife of Uriah.

23229	MAT 1:16	And Jacob fathered Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus who is called Christ.
23230	MAT 1:17	So all the generations from Abraham till David were fourteen generations, from David until the captivity in Babylon were fourteen generations, and from the captivity in Babylon until the Christ were fourteen generations.
23231	MAT 1:18	Now the birth of Jesus Christ was like this: After His mother Mary had been betrothed to Joseph, before they came together, she was found pregnant by the Holy Spirit.
23232	MAT 1:19	Then Joseph her husband, being righteous and not wanting to disgrace her, purposed to put her away secretly.
23233	MAT 1:20	But while he was thinking about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not fear to take unto you Mary your wife, for that which is begotten in her is of the Holy Spirit.

23249	MAT 2:11	And having come into the house, they saw the young Child with Mary His mother, and falling down, they worshiped Him, and opening their treasures, they presented gifts to Him: gold, frankincense, and myrrh.
23250	MAT 2:12	And having been divinely instructed in a dream not to return to Herod, they withdrew into their own country by another way.
23254	MAT 2:16	Then Herod, seeing that he had been deceived by the wise men, was greatly enraged; and he sent and executed all the boys in Bethlehem and in all its districts, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had ascertained from the wise men.
23259	MAT 2:21	Then he rose and took along the young Child and His mother, and came into the land of Israel.
23260	MAT 2:22	But hearing that Archelaus was reigning over Judea instead of his father Herod, he was afraid to go there. And being divinely instructed in a dream, he withdrew into the regions of Galilee.
23265	MAT 3:4	And John himself had his clothing made from camel's hair, with a leather belt around his waist; and his food was locusts and wild honey.
23267	MAT 3:6	and they were being baptized by him in the Jordan, confessing their sins.
23270	MAT 3:9	and do not think to say among yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father.’ For I say to you that God is able to raise up children to Abraham out of these stones.
23271	MAT 3:10	But even now, the ax is laid to the root of the trees. Therefore every tree not producing good fruit is cut down and cast into the fire.
23272	MAT 3:11	I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit,
23274	MAT 3:13	Then Jesus arrived from Galilee to John at the Jordan, to be baptized by him.
23276	MAT 3:15	But Jesus answered and said to him, “Permit it now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness.” Then he permitted Him.
23277	MAT 3:16	And having been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and coming to rest on Him.
23279	MAT 4:1	Then Jesus was led up into the wilderness by the Spirit, to be tempted by the devil.
23280	MAT 4:2	And having fasted forty days and forty nights, afterward He was hungry.
23284	MAT 4:6	and said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down. For it is written: ‘He shall give His angels charge concerning you,’ and, ‘In their hands they will lift you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone.’ ”
23286	MAT 4:8	Again, the devil took Him up on a very high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world, and their glory.
23289	MAT 4:11	Then the devil left Him, and behold, angels came and ministered to Him.
23290	MAT 4:12	Now when Jesus heard that John had been imprisoned, He departed into Galilee.
23296	MAT 4:18	Now as He was walking alongside the Sea of Galilee, He saw two brothers, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen.
23298	MAT 4:20	They immediately left their nets and followed Him.
23299	MAT 4:21	And having gone forth from there, He saw two other brothers, James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, in the boat with Zebedee their father, mending their nets. And He called them.
23300	MAT 4:22	And immediately they left the boat and their father, and followed Him.
23301	MAT 4:23	And Jesus went about all of Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every disease and every illness among the people.
23302	MAT 4:24	And the report of Him went throughout all Syria; and they brought to Him all those who were sick, and who were suffering with various diseases and torments, and those who were demon-possessed, epileptics, and paralytics; and He healed them.
23303	MAT 4:25	And large crowds followed Him from Galilee and from Decapolis, and Jerusalem, and Judea, and beyond the Jordan.
23304	MAT 5:1	And seeing the crowds, He went up into the mountain, and after He had sat down, His disciples approached Him.
23306	MAT 5:3	“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
23307	MAT 5:4	“Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.
23308	MAT 5:5	“Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.
23309	MAT 5:6	“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled.
23310	MAT 5:7	“Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.
23311	MAT 5:8	“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.
23312	MAT 5:9	“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.
23313	MAT 5:10	“Blessed are those who have been persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
23314	MAT 5:11	“Blessed are you whenever they revile you, and they persecute you, and they say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake.
23315	MAT 5:12	“Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
23316	MAT 5:13	“You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt becomes tasteless, with what shall it be salted? It is then good for nothing but to be cast out and to be trampled underfoot by men.
23317	MAT 5:14	“You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.
23318	MAT 5:15	Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it shines on everything in the house.
23319	MAT 5:16	Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.
23320	MAT 5:17	“Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to abolish, but to fulfill.
23321	MAT 5:18	For assuredly I say to you, until heaven and earth may pass away, one iota or one tittle shall by no means pass away from the law until all things are fulfilled.
23322	MAT 5:19	Whoever therefore shall break one of the least of these commandments, and shall teach men so, will be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does them and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
23323	MAT 5:20	For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you shall by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.
23324	MAT 5:21	“You have heard that it was said to the ancients, ‘You shall not murder,’ and whoever murders will be in danger of the judgment.
23325	MAT 5:22	But I say to you that whoever gets angry with his brother without cause will be in danger of the judgment. And whoever says to his brother, ‘Empty-head!’ will be in danger of the council. But whoever says, ‘fool!’ will be in danger of hell fire.
23327	MAT 5:24	leave your gift there before the altar, and go, first be reconciled with your brother, and then come and offer your gift.
23328	MAT 5:25	Make friends with your adversary quickly, while you are on the road with him, lest your adversary hand you over to the judge, and the judge hand you over to the officer, and you be cast into prison.
23329	MAT 5:26	Assuredly I say to you, you will by no means get out of there till you have paid the last penny.
23331	MAT 5:28	But I say to you, that whoever looks at a woman in order to lust after her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
23332	MAT 5:29	If your right eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out and cast it from you; for it is better for you that one of your members be lost, than for your whole body to be cast into hell.
23333	MAT 5:30	And if your right hand causes you to stumble, cut it off and cast it from you; for it is better for you that one of your members be lost, than for your whole body to be cast into hell.
23335	MAT 5:32	But I say to you that whoever divorces his wife, except for a matter of sexual immorality, makes her commit adultery; and whoever marries a divorcee commits adultery.
23338	MAT 5:35	nor by the earth, for it is His footstool; nor by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King.
23339	MAT 5:36	Nor shall you swear by your head, because you are not able to make one hair white or black.
23340	MAT 5:37	But let your word be ‘Yes’, ‘yes,’ or ‘No,’ ‘no.’ For whatever is more than these is from the evil one.
23342	MAT 5:39	But I say to you not to resist an evil person. But whoever shall slap you on your right cheek, turn to him the other also.
23343	MAT 5:40	And to the one desiring to sue you and to take your tunic, let him have your cloak also.
23344	MAT 5:41	And whoever compels you to go one mile, go with him two.
23345	MAT 5:42	Give to the one asking you, and to the one desiring to borrow from you, do not turn away.
23348	MAT 5:45	so that you may prove to be sons of your Father in heaven; because He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and He sends rain on the just and on the unjust.
23351	MAT 5:48	You therefore be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.
23352	MAT 6:1	“Take care not to be doing your charitable giving before men, so as to be seen by them. Otherwise, you have not a reward from your Father in heaven.
23353	MAT 6:2	Whenever therefore you do charitable giving, do not sound a trumpet before you as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, so that they may be praised by men. Assuredly I say to you, they receive their reward in full.
23355	MAT 6:4	so that your charitable giving may be in secret; and your Father, who sees in secret, will Himself reward you openly.
23356	MAT 6:5	“And whenever you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites, because they love to pray standing in the synagogues, and on the street corners, so that they may be seen by men. Assuredly I say to you, that they receive their reward in full.
23357	MAT 6:6	But you, whenever you pray, enter into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in secret; and your Father, who sees in secret, will reward you openly.
23358	MAT 6:7	But when you pray, do not babble like the heathen, for they think that they will be heard for their many words.
23359	MAT 6:8	Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows what things you have need of before you ask Him.
23360	MAT 6:9	Therefore pray in this manner: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name.
23361	MAT 6:10	Your kingdom come, Your will be done, On earth as it is in heaven.
23362	MAT 6:11	Give us this day our daily bread.
23363	MAT 6:12	And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors.
23364	MAT 6:13	And lead us not into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
23365	MAT 6:14	“For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
