764	GEN 27:36	Esau exclaimed, “‘Jacob’ is the right name for him! He has tripped me up two times! He took away my birthright, and now, look, he has taken away my blessing!” Then he asked, “Have you not kept back a blessing for me?”
775	GEN 28:1	So Isaac called for Jacob and blessed him. Then he commanded him, “You must not marry a Canaanite woman!
776	GEN 28:2	Leave immediately for Paddan Aram! Go to the house of Bethuel, your mother’s father, and find yourself a wife there, among the daughters of Laban, your mother’s brother.
777	GEN 28:3	May the sovereign God bless you! May he make you fruitful and give you a multitude of descendants! Then you will become a large nation.
789	GEN 28:15	I am with you! I will protect you wherever you go and will bring you back to this land. I will not leave you until I have done what I promised you!”
791	GEN 28:17	He was afraid and said, “What an awesome place this is! This is nothing else than the house of God! This is the gate of heaven!”
821	GEN 29:25	In the morning Jacob discovered it was Leah! So Jacob said to Laban, “What in the world have you done to me! Didn’t I work for you in exchange for Rachel? Why have you tricked me?”
834	GEN 30:3	She replied, “Here is my servant Bilhah! Have sexual relations with her so that she can bear children for me and I can have a family through her.”
875	GEN 31:1	Jacob heard that Laban’s sons were complaining, “Jacob has taken everything that belonged to our father! He has gotten rich at our father’s expense!”
889	GEN 31:15	Hasn’t he treated us like foreigners? He not only sold us, but completely wasted the money paid for us!
900	GEN 31:26	“What have you done?” Laban demanded of Jacob. “You’ve deceived me and carried away my daughters as if they were captives of war!

915	GEN 31:41	This was my lot for twenty years in your house: I worked like a slave for you – fourteen years for your two daughters and six years for your flocks, but you changed my wages ten times!

1113	GEN 37:29	Later Reuben returned to the cistern to find that Joseph was not in it! He tore his clothes,
1114	GEN 37:30	returned to his brothers, and said, “The boy isn’t there! And I, where can I go?”
1117	GEN 37:33	He recognized it and exclaimed, “It is my son’s tunic! A wild animal has eaten him! Joseph has surely been torn to pieces!”
1136	GEN 38:16	He turned aside to her along the road and said, “Come on! I want to have sex with you.” (He did not realize it was his daughter-in-law.) She asked, “What will you give me in exchange for having sex with you?”
1215	GEN 41:19	Then seven other cows came up after them; they were scrawny, very bad-looking, and lean. I had never seen such bad-looking cows as these in all the land of Egypt!
1235	GEN 41:39	So Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Because God has enabled you to know all this, there is no one as wise and discerning as you are!
1263	GEN 42:10	But they exclaimed, “No, my lord! Your servants have come to buy grain for food!
1264	GEN 42:11	We are all the sons of one man; we are honest men! Your servants are not spies.”
1267	GEN 42:14	But Joseph told them, “It is just as I said to you: You are spies!
1281	GEN 42:28	He said to his brothers, “My money was returned! Here it is in my sack!” They were dismayed; they turned trembling one to another and said, “What in the world has God done to us?”
1284	GEN 42:31	But we said to him, ‘We are honest men; we are not spies!
1288	GEN 42:35	When they were emptying their sacks, there was each man’s bag of money in his sack! When they and their father saw the bags of money, they were afraid.
1289	GEN 42:36	Their father Jacob said to them, “You are making me childless! Joseph is gone. Simeon is gone. And now you want to take Benjamin! Everything is against me.”
1305	GEN 43:14	May the sovereign God grant you mercy before the man so that he may release your other brother and Benjamin! As for me, if I lose my children I lose them.”
1329	GEN 44:4	They had not gone very far from the city when Joseph said to the servant who was over his household, “Pursue the men at once! When you overtake them, say to them, ‘Why have you repaid good with evil?
1332	GEN 44:7	They answered him, “Why does my lord say such things? Far be it from your servants to do such a thing!
1335	GEN 44:10	He replied, “You have suggested your own punishment! The one who has it will become my slave, but the rest of you will go free.”
1337	GEN 44:12	Then the man searched. He began with the oldest and finished with the youngest. The cup was found in Benjamin’s sack!
1338	GEN 44:13	They all tore their clothes! Then each man loaded his donkey, and they returned to the city.
1341	GEN 44:16	Judah replied, “What can we say to my lord? What can we speak? How can we clear ourselves? God has exposed the sin of your servants! We are now my lord’s slaves, we and the one in whose possession the cup was found.”
1342	GEN 44:17	But Joseph said, “Far be it from me to do this! The man in whose hand the cup was found will become my slave, but the rest of you may go back to your father in peace.”
1362	GEN 45:3	Joseph said to his brothers, “I am Joseph! Is my father still alive?” His brothers could not answer him because they were dumbfounded before him.
1364	GEN 45:5	Now, do not be upset and do not be angry with yourselves because you sold me here, for God sent me ahead of you to preserve life!
1368	GEN 45:9	Now go up to my father quickly and tell him, ‘This is what your son Joseph says: “God has made me lord of all Egypt. Come down to me; do not delay!
1376	GEN 45:17	Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Say to your brothers, ‘Do this: Load your animals and go to the land of Canaan!
1377	GEN 45:18	Get your father and your households and come to me! Then I will give you the best land in Egypt and you will eat the best of the land.’
1387	GEN 45:28	Then Israel said, “Enough! My son Joseph is still alive! I will go and see him before I die.”
1436	GEN 47:15	When the money from the lands of Egypt and Canaan was used up, all the Egyptians came to Joseph and said, “Give us food! Why should we die before your very eyes because our money has run out?”
1446	GEN 47:25	They replied, “You have saved our lives! You are showing us favor, and we will be Pharaoh’s slaves.”
1478	GEN 49:4	You are destructive like water and will not excel, for you got on your father’s bed, then you defiled it – he got on my couch!
1479	GEN 49:5	Simeon and Levi are brothers, weapons of violence are their knives!
1481	GEN 49:7	Cursed be their anger, for it was fierce, and their fury, for it was cruel. I will divide them in Jacob, and scatter them in Israel!
1542	EXO 1:9	He said to his people, “Look at the Israelite people, more numerous and stronger than we are!
1561	EXO 2:6	opened it, and saw the child – a boy, crying! – and she felt compassion for him and said, “This is one of the Hebrews’ children.”
1582	EXO 3:2	The angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire from within a bush. He looked – and the bush was ablaze with fire, but it was not being consumed!
1585	EXO 3:5	God said, “Do not approach any closer! Take your sandals off your feet, for the place where you are standing is holy ground.”
1608	EXO 4:6	The Lord also said to him, “Put your hand into your robe.” So he put his hand into his robe, and when he brought it out – there was his hand, leprous like snow!
1609	EXO 4:7	He said, “Put your hand back into your robe.” So he put his hand back into his robe, and when he brought it out from his robe – there it was, restored like the rest of his skin!
1650	EXO 5:17	But Pharaoh replied, “You are slackers! Slackers! That is why you are saying, ‘Let us go sacrifice to the Lord.’
1651	EXO 5:18	So now, get back to work! You will not be given straw, but you must still produce your quota of bricks!”
1707	EXO 7:21	When the fish that were in the Nile died, the Nile began to stink, so that the Egyptians could not drink water from the Nile. There was blood everywhere in the land of Egypt!
1712	EXO 7:26	Then the Lord said to Moses, “Go to Pharaoh and tell him, ‘Thus says the Lord: “Release my people in order that they may serve me!
1731	EXO 8:16	The Lord said to Moses, “Get up early in the morning and position yourself before Pharaoh as he goes out to the water, and tell him, ‘Thus says the Lord, “Release my people that they may serve me!
1742	EXO 8:27	and the Lord did as Moses asked – he removed the swarms of flies from Pharaoh, from his servants, and from his people. Not one remained!
