23255	MAT 2:17	Then what was spoken by Jeremiah the prophet was fulfilled:

23276	MAT 3:15	But Jesus answered him, “Permit it for now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness.” Then John permitted him.

23279	MAT 4:1	Then Jesus was led up into the wilderness by the Spirit to be tempted by the devil.

23283	MAT 4:5	Then the devil took him to the holy city, set him on the pinnacle of the temple,
23288	MAT 4:10	Then Jesus said to him, “Get behind me, Satan! For it is written, ‘Yoʋ shall worship the Lord yoʋr God, and him only shall yoʋ serve.’ ”
23289	MAT 4:11	Then the devil left him, and behold, angels came and ministered to him.

23353	MAT 6:2	So when yoʋ give to the needy, do not sound a trumpet before yoʋ, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, so that they may be praised by others. Truly I say to you, they have received their reward.
23355	MAT 6:4	so that yoʋr giving may be in secret. Then yoʋr Father who sees in secret will himself reward yoʋ openly.
23356	MAT 6:5	“When yoʋ pray, do not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and at the street corners so that they may be seen by others. Truly I say to you, they have received their reward.
23357	MAT 6:6	But when yoʋ pray, go into yoʋr inner room, shut yoʋr door, and pray to yoʋr Father who is in secret. Then yoʋr Father who sees in secret will reward yoʋ openly.
23367	MAT 6:16	“When you fast, do not be gloomy like the hypocrites, for they disfigure their faces so that they may be seen by others to be fasting. Truly I say to you, they have received their reward.
23369	MAT 6:18	so that yoʋ may not be seen by others to be fasting, but by yoʋr Father who is in secret. Then yoʋr Father who sees in secret will reward yoʋ.
23373	MAT 6:22	“The lamp of the body is the eye. If then yoʋr eye is clear, yoʋr whole body will be full of light.
23376	MAT 6:25	“Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat and what you will drink, or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?
23377	MAT 6:26	Look at the birds of the sky: They do not sow or reap or gather into barns, yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?
23379	MAT 6:28	And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: They do not toil or spin,
23382	MAT 6:31	Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ or, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘What will we wear?’
23385	MAT 6:34	“Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.
23397	MAT 7:12	“Therefore whatever you wish that others would do to you, do the same also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.
23405	MAT 7:20	Therefore by their fruits you will know them.
23408	MAT 7:23	Then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you who practice lawlessness.’
23410	MAT 7:25	The rain fell, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.
23412	MAT 7:27	The rain fell, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell, and great was its fall.”
23418	MAT 8:4	Then Jesus said to him, “See that yoʋ tell no one, but go show yoʋrself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, as a testimony to them.”
23424	MAT 8:10	When Jesus heard this, he was amazed and said to those who followed, “Truly I say to you, not even in Israel have I found such great faith.
23427	MAT 8:13	Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go; it will be done for you just as yoʋ have believed.” And his servant was healed in that hour.
23429	MAT 8:15	So he touched her hand, and the fever left her. Then she rose and began to serve him.
23431	MAT 8:17	This was to fulfill what had been spoken by Isaiah the prophet: “He took our infirmities and bore our diseases.”
23433	MAT 8:19	Then a scribe came up and said to him, “Teacher, I will follow yoʋ wherever yoʋ go.”
23435	MAT 8:21	Then another of his disciples said to him, “Lord, let me first go and bury my father.”
23437	MAT 8:23	Then he got into the boat, and his disciples followed him.
23440	MAT 8:26	But he said to them, “Why are you afraid, O you of little faith?” Then he rose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm.
23442	MAT 8:28	When Jesus came to the other side of the sea, to the region of the Gergesenes, two demon-possessed men met him, coming out of the tombs. They were so fierce that no one could pass by that way.
23447	MAT 8:33	Those who had been feeding the pigs then ran off, went into the city, and reported everything, including what had happened to the demon-possessed men.
23450	MAT 9:2	And behold, some men brought to him a paralytic lying on a bed. When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, “Take courage, son; yoʋr sins are forgiven yoʋ.”
23451	MAT 9:3	And behold, some of the scribes said to themselves, “This man is blaspheming.”
23462	MAT 9:14	Then the disciples of John came to Jesus and said, “Why do we and the Pharisees often fast, but yoʋr disciples do not fast?”
23470	MAT 9:22	But when Jesus turned around and saw her, he said, “Take courage, daughter; yoʋr faith has healed yoʋ.” And the woman was healed from that hour.
23476	MAT 9:28	When he went into the house, the blind men came to him, and Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” They said to him, “Yes, Lord.”
23477	MAT 9:29	Then he touched their eyes, saying, “Let it be done for yoʋ according to your faith.”
23478	MAT 9:30	And their eyes were opened. Then Jesus sternly warned them, “See that no one knows about this.”
23483	MAT 9:35	Then Jesus went throughout all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every disease and every sickness among the people.
23485	MAT 9:37	Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.
23486	MAT 9:38	Therefore ask the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into his harvest.”
23487	MAT 10:1	Then Jesus summoned his twelve disciples and gave them authority to cast out unclean spirits and to heal every disease and every sickness.
23489	MAT 10:3	Philip and Bartholomew; Thomas and Matthew the tax collector; James the son of Alphaeus, and Lebbaeus, who was given the name Thaddaeus;
23491	MAT 10:5	These twelve Jesus sent out, instructing them, “Do not go anywhere among the Gentiles, and do not enter any town of the Samaritans,
23495	MAT 10:9	Take no gold, silver, or copper in your belts.
23496	MAT 10:10	Take no knapsack for your journey, no extra tunic, sandals, or staffs, for the worker is worthy of his food.
23501	MAT 10:15	Truly I say to you, it will be more tolerable on the day of judgment for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah than for that town.
23518	MAT 10:32	“Therefore everyone who acknowledges me before men, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven.
23533	MAT 11:5	The blind receive their sight and the lame walk, lepers are made clean and the deaf hear, the dead are raised and the poor have good news preached to them.
23539	MAT 11:11	Truly I say to you, among those born of women there has arisen no one greater than John the Baptist, but whoever is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.
23547	MAT 11:19	The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, ‘Behold, a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners!’ Yet wisdom is justified by her children.”
23548	MAT 11:20	Then Jesus began to reproach the cities in which most of his miracles had been done, because they did not repent:
23549	MAT 11:21	“Woe to yoʋ, Chorazin! Woe to yoʋ, Bethsaida! For if the miracles that were done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes.
23550	MAT 11:22	But I tell you, it will be more tolerable on the day of judgment for Tyre and Sidon than for you.
23557	MAT 11:29	Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
23567	MAT 12:9	Then he departed from there and went into their synagogue.
23571	MAT 12:13	Then he said to the man, “Stretch out yoʋr hand.” So he stretched it out, and it was restored, as sound as the other.
23575	MAT 12:17	This was to fulfill what had been spoken through Isaiah the prophet:
23580	MAT 12:22	Then a demon-possessed man who was blind and mute was brought to him, and Jesus healed him, so that the man who was blind and mute could speak and see.
23585	MAT 12:27	And if I cast out demons by Beelzebul, by whom do your followers cast them out? Therefore they will be your judges.
23587	MAT 12:29	Or how can anyone enter the house of a strong man and plunder his goods unless he first binds the strong man? Then he will plunder his house.
23589	MAT 12:31	Therefore I tell you, people will be forgiven for every sin and blasphemy, but they will not be forgiven for blasphemy against the Spirit.
23593	MAT 12:35	The good person brings good things out of his good treasure, and the evil person brings evil things out of his evil treasure.
23596	MAT 12:38	Then some of the scribes and Pharisees responded, “Teacher, we want to see a sign from yoʋ.”
23599	MAT 12:41	The men of Nineveh will rise up at the judgment with this generation and condemn it, for they repented at the preaching of Jonah, and behold, something greater than Jonah is here.
23600	MAT 12:42	The queen of the South will rise up at the judgment with this generation and condemn it, for she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon, and behold, something greater than Solomon is here.
23602	MAT 12:44	Then it says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came out.’ When it arrives, it finds the house unoccupied, swept, and put in order.
23603	MAT 12:45	Then it goes and takes with it seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they go in and dwell there, and the last state of that person becomes worse than the first. So will it be with this evil generation also.”
23605	MAT 12:47	Then someone said to him, “Behold, yoʋr mother and yoʋr brothers are standing outside, asking to speak to yoʋ.”
23611	MAT 13:3	Then he told them many things in parables, saying, “Behold, the sower went out to sow.
23618	MAT 13:10	Then the disciples came and said to him, “Why do yoʋ speak to the people in parables?”
23619	MAT 13:11	Jesus answered them, “To you it has been given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given.
23621	MAT 13:13	That is why I speak to them in parables, because ‘they see but do not perceive, and they hear but do not listen or understand.’
23627	MAT 13:19	When anyone hears the word of the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is the seed sown along the path.
23628	MAT 13:20	The seed sown on rocky ground is he who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy.
